📋 Booking quotas
The new booking quotas provide you with three different quota types that you can set for your users:
Quantity quotas: A certain number of bookings that can be made
Time quotas: a defined total duration that can be used over several bookings
Budgets: a certain amount of money for which bookings can be made
You can allocate these quotas on a one-off or recurring basis (daily, weekly, monthly or annually). This opens up a wide range of possibilities, such as creating multiple tickets, vouchers, or monthly recurring quotas for your subscription customers or community members such as work or learning spaces. Your customers can use their quotas over several bookings, whereby they can view their remaining quota balance at any time. In addition, the use of quotas can be restricted to groups, categories, resources, and services.Alternatively, you can set a quota for the booking of a resource so that no further bookings can be made afterward. Alternatively, the booking is billed at regular conditions once the quota has been used up.👥 Quotas in communities and subscriptionsWith booking quotas, you can create exclusive benefits for your subscribers and community members by linking them directly to your subscription plans or communities. Frequent applications are value vouchers or multiple tickets. Use Case: We have members which pay a yearly member fee and are allowed to book resources up until that member without being charged. E.g. one company has a yearly member fee of XXX€, so they can book services for the current year up until a total of XXX€.If the quota is exceeded, then the services have to be paid by a payment method, e.g. online payment or via invoice.The quota renews every year in our case, but this could be configurable.This could also be handled by a general customer credit balance, but for our case there would also have to be the option to top it off without charging something, because the charging is handled via the backoffice.
